Regenerative scaffold for articular cartilage

Name: Articular Cartilage Regeneration Scaffold

Structural composition: The scaffold is composed of type I collagen derived from porcine Achilles tendon. It is crafted through an integrated construction process and freeze-drying, resulting in a white sponge-like structure. This scaffold boasts a dual-layer structure, consisting of a dense layer and a porous layer, and is designed to be degradable and absorbable.

Intended use: Repair of articular cartilage defects.

Working principle: This product is a bionic bi-layer three-dimensional scaffold. The dense layer can retain BMSC cells and reduce the interference of joint cavity components on healing; the porous layer can quickly absorb the bone marrow blood generated during microfracture surgery and achieve self-adhesion through the interaction between collagen and surrounding tissues. During the cartilage repair process, the cell scaffold provides a carrier and microenvironment for cell enrichment, proliferation, and differentiation. It is gradually degraded and absorbed by the body during the formation of new cartilage tissue, and eventually disappears completely.
