(hereinafter referred to as "Xingyue Biotechnology") participated in the completion of the "Clinical Transformation Study of Osteocartilage Tissue Engineering" and won the first prize of the 2023 Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
The aging population and younger onset of diseases have led to a huge number of patients with bone and joint diseases, seriously affecting their quality of life. The innovative series of "Bone and Cartilage Tissue Engineering Element Products and Regeneration Technology" in this project significantly improves the cure rate of refractory fractures and joint cartilage defects, and promotes the transition of orthopedic surgery from the "excision replacement paradigm" to the "repair regeneration paradigm". This technology promotes the development of Chinese characteristic silk materials into platform based medical materials, avoiding the bottleneck of biological raw materials. Establishing a series of national pharmaceutical industry standards and new technical specifications for bone and joint regeneration technology products, achieving large-scale clinical translation, and promoting the development of regenerative medicine discipline and new quality productivity.
