Condole with model workers and craftsmen, inherit and carry forward the power of examples

Uphold the virtue of labor and promote the spirit of model workers. On the occasion of the May Day, a delegation led by Liu Ying, member of the Standing Committee of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee, secretary of the Yuhang District Party Committee, Zhu Hongdan, deputy secretary of the Yuhang District Party Committee, Shen Hong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Yuhang District People's Congress/chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, visited Xingyue Biology to pay tribute to Zhao Hongshi, the "model worker of Yuhang District".

Secretary Liu presented flowers and condolence letters to Dr. Zhao Hongshi, a model worker in the district, bringing the organization's care and greetings, and conveying the concern and care of the Party committee and government for outstanding worker representatives. Secretary Liu had a cordial conversation with model worker Zhao Hongshi, gaining a deep understanding of his work and life situation, and learning about his original intention of choosing to innovate high-end medical products in the biopharmaceutical industry and rooted in the hot soil of Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City.

I have listened to Dr. Zhao Hongshi's ten-year entrepreneurial journey and achieved multiple breakthrough results in the research and industrial transformation of silk medical new materials. Secretary Liu highly praised the early achievements and future plans of Zhao Hongshi's model worker studio. Dr. Zhao Hongshi led the team to achieve excellent results, making positive contributions to building two major scientific and technological innovation highlands in Zhejiang, namely new materials and big health. Secretary Liu encouraged Dr. Zhao Hongshi to continue to carry forward the spirit of model workers and craftsmen, fully play the exemplary and leading role of model workers and craftsmen, set an example and benchmark for the vast number of workers, pursue innovative spirit of exploration and innovation, rigorous and meticulous scientific spirit of pursuing truth, and make new contributions to promoting the economic and social development of Yuhang District and even Hangzhou City.

Zhao Hongshi Model Worker (Craftsman) Innovation Studio and Team Introduction

The studio was established in July 2019 and was recognized as a "Model Worker (Craftsman) Demonstration Innovation Studio" by the Yuhang District Federation of Trade Unions in December 2021. The studio is an interdisciplinary talent team composed of master's and doctoral students from various professional backgrounds such as bioengineering, clinical medicine, materials science, and pharmacy from prestigious domestic and foreign universities. It currently has more than 30 core technical backbones, including 5 doctoral students and 4 craftsmen from Yuhang District/Science and Technology City. The studio focuses on the development and application research of Chinese medical materials - silk protein, and is committed to building the advantages of Chinese medical materials.
